EMT in downtown Oakland

Looks like EMT is cornering the market so to speak. Located across from their original Tony the Tiger walls off Broadway in downtown Oakland, EMT has completed a new 2 wall set with a bit of a Simpsons meets the Star Wars theme. Goser, MR. EF, Roar, 7Seas, Ryno, Germs, Resk and a few others came out to crush!

An impressive wall to wall setup, but we have one question... how do you feel about the Artist's Company shout-outs inside all this?   We thought that graffiti was a response to the excessive advertising on the streets. Artists that are willing to take out billboards are now creating their own. Subversive advertising disguised as graffiti? Yes, we've truly evolved. Welcome to the new era of graffiti walls.
