Style Manipulatorz of the DEEP East

We caught a wild hair up our ass and headed out to deep east Oakland to see what those UTI boys have been up to. Skil and Resek have been rather creative in securing walls and adding some color and style to the hood. Let's see what's up with the STYLE MANIPULATORZ !

New ish in the Town

Walls keep going up in the town. Alongside Nychos recent visit some of the locals stepped it up and rocked some fresh new stuff. Le Qui Vive provided another wall in downtown, while some enterprising young guns took over a dilapidated building in West Oakland, Guerilla style, some animals took over a billboard and a 4:20 wall popped up in the art murmur district.

Nychos in Oakland : The Beaster Bunny

Well, this one sure is a beast !
Nychos is back in the bay area. After opening a new show at Upper Playground and rocking two walls in the Haight he crossed the bridge into Oakland and rocked what may be his largest piece to date. Not bad for a 6 day work week. He painted a wolf and a human in the midst of dissection in San Francisco. For Oakland he painted the Beaster Bunny ! How fitting since he finished it up on Easter. You may have tired of seeing his dissection murals online, but in person they take on a whole other personality and seem to jump off the wall. Oakland has been blessed with another incredible wall. Much Thanks to Nychos and Le Qui Vive.

Mission 2 Burn - TDK style

TDK crew came through and laced a new wall over in West Oakland. Pretty Dope ! With a military type theme, Planes and tanks join some pieces to form an epic battlefield. Great work by Sear, Amend, Done, Dyl, Swiph and Dash. A mission to BURN??? We say,  Mission Accomplished !

Street Story - UTI

We had some really nasty things to say about this production, but since the negative perps have packed their bags and vacated the premises we'll cut the shit and get back to celebrating the dope art in Oakland !

Resek and Skil and friends are at it again. Taking over large walls in downtown Oakland and dropping ill pieces in the guise of a comic book layout - dope !

(FYI - don't ever work with the Love Oakland Group or whatever their next name may be. They are narc's and work with OPD and have been responsible for vigilante violence on local writers. So if you rep the streets, stay away from those assholes...a legal wall production is not worth compromising your integrity)
